Bill says “It explains a bit about my background, and my acting career, before going on to discuss the photographs I take (all 3 are very closely related) and why I take them... it covers pretty much the full range of my work, so plenty of landscapes/seascapes, and urban too etc.. The first half lasts just on an hour or so, and the second half 45 mins or so in which I cover "Creative Photography" (i.e. ICM and in-camera Multiple Exposures), which I've been doing for a over a decade... oh, and I'll show a lot of pictures!

A French Photographer in the UK
I was fortunate enough to grow up on the west coast of France, in a rural region wedged between the sandy waters of the Gironde estuary and the wild Atlantic Ocean. From an early age, I spent my time immersed in water, from days spent surfing learning the intimate secrets of the ocean waves, to time spent discovering the rich flora and fauna of the wetlands where my grandparents tended their oyster pools.
This year's themes are:
Reflection
Use of artificial light
Sunset
Speed
Close-up

Andy is a firm advocate for the 'craft' of photography and sees the process as a journey of continuous development no matter how experienced we are or the kit we use.
This talk will include multiple exposure and ICM (intentional camera movement) made almost entirely in camera on location.
Judge: Micki Aston
Note that this event is being hosted by Woodley this year and so is on a Monday, as this is their club night
Matt was drawn into the world of abandoned location photography and became hooked on the fascinating back stories and atmospheric sense of place and history at the locations he visited. Capturing and bringing these stories into peoples’ homes via his social channels has evolved into a nine year-long project titled, 'Forgotten Heritage'.

Home Town Stories is my photographic practice established with the aim of creating long-term film based documentary photo stories inspired by the people, community, culture and landscape of my home town of Newbury in Berkshire UK.
The boundaries of my ‘home town’, as I see and experience them bear little resemblance to any official map or designation, they are instead more open to my own personal interpretation and heart felt feeling of what is local and home to me.
